The questionnaire variables are the same data that, as its name suggests, are different for each user who sends it. The variables are used in generating reports with responses from users, so that we can configure what information we want to display.
In addition, variables we can use thank you text, both in the email confirmation (where is activated). By clicking on the button Editor, the list of existing variables, so that, when you click on one of them, will be included automatically in the text box will be displayed.
Inserting variables in the text, they should note that variables are always expressed in double brackets .
There are 2 types:
Variables associated with the fields of the questionnaire : its identifier is the name of the field that we assign to each question when we created it. For example, in the following picture a question appears type "radio" whose field name is "turn".
If the acknowledgement box write, for example:
When the user submits the questionnaire, that text replacing the variable [[turn]] by the selected value will show in display.
In addition to the value specified by the user of the questionnaire, it is also possible to include the text that accompanies a question, following the structure:
[[set forth: nombre-campo ]]
Similarly, in scoring questionnaires, we can include the correct answer of the question or the score obtained in the same.
[[correct: nombre_del_campo ]] : correct answer to a question. [[points : nombre_del_campo ]] : score obtained on a question.
System variables : are data that generates the application itself and that can be useful. To be able to identify them more easily, they are preceded by an asterisk.
* Date : date and time when the user submits the questionnaire.
* Handle : number that identifies each sending of the questionnaire, is automatically generated.
* IP : IP address from which the questionnaire was sent.
* Name of the questionnaire .
* Note : should the questionnaire be scoring, we have at our disposal the note obtained by each user.
For example, in the text of gratitude we can add:
and the user, after submitting the questionnaire would be:
Sometimes it can occur we need to include all the form data in the confirmation email or text thanks. For example, in the case of a questionnaire scoring, we can configure that, after sending the user responses, on-screen responses, along with the correct solution; or in the case of a registration, we can send all the data selected by the user in an email if then there is a problem.
In the text editor (thanks box both in the body of the email) we have a button that automatically includes all the variables in the questionnaire.
Of course, once inserted, you can eliminate them, reorder them or write explanatory text, as we deem appropriate.
In the central part of the screen you can display the text of Thanksgiving full, along with a couple of options to format certain variables. By default, the template is shown without formatting, but by clicking on the corresponding icons we can vary the format automatically.
The orange button, as well as separators between variables, added an explanatory in front of every variable tag. For example, in front of the statements it puts the word "Statement", in front of a correct answer adds "Proper", etc.
The blue button , applies the same format as the orange with the exception of explanatory labels and the last button , removes any formatting applied.
