In this version of the Firmware is enabled a feature that until now had been prevented from connecting to the wireless network "eduroam". This functionality is that now it supports WPA Enterprise.
Depending on whether we have Internet access from the device that you want to configure eduroam, we must follow a procedure or the other of the two listed below.
If this is the first time that we are going to use eduroam we must ACTIVATE our Virtual Campus Wi-Fi user.
Access to this site from our iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad.
Click on the profile's configuration ua.mobileconfig and will open the following screens where we click oninstall"in both. The certificate required to use eduroam at the University of Alicante will be installed in this process.

Then will see us two new screens where we enter our username and password for eduroam. Click on "Next" to introduce each of our data.

Finally screen appears us which indicates that the profile of eduroam is installed. Click "OK" and we already have ready our device to use eduroam.
From a computer with Internet access must download and install the "Configuration Utility iPhone" by Apple for Mac OS X or Windows.
Open the application and connect your device to your computer via USB.
Profile configuration ua.mobileconfig downloaded on our computer and open it. This will be imported to the library of the "Configuration Utility iPhone".
Our device appears in the left side of the application. Click on it and then, in the "configuration profiles" tab that appears on the main screen will appear profile ua.eduroam with a button that allows to install. It is possible that the application appear other profiles that you have installed on our device.
By clicking on the button "install", on our device connected to the computer will appear the screens that appear in the paragraph "With Internet access" of this page and should follow the instructions that accompany them.
Note: The profile appears "unsigned" the catch with this method will be "verified" but this difference doesn't really matter in this case.
